Soil Gas Mitigation Compliance Inspector Certification (SGM-CI) 8hr SPRUCE8006 (NRPP 8006)

Description
8-hour online course (Preparatory For The NRPP SGMCI Certification Credential Exam) See NRPP for Additional Pre-Requisite Qualifications)
This video course (Filmed at the IEA New England conference) is designed to train radon professionals and home inspectors to identify observable aspects of a residential radon system that may impact its proper operation. The course especially focuses on those defects that may increase a health risk from radon-induced lung cancer or cause structural damage or fungal growth from improper moisture management. This course prepares the student for the NRPP SGMCI exam. Building code inspectors and government officials will find this national credential particularly useful. Home Inspectors can learn to do a complete inspection for their clients by including any currently installed system into their final home inspection report. Radon mitigators will also benefit from adding this additional credential.

The mitigation system information is organized to flow into a residential inspection process so that it follows a logical inspection pattern. The course is based on the new AARST/ANSI guidelines and covers the NRPP inspection app procedures and features.
