Residential Sampling and Mitigation:
This 8-hour Radon in Water course provides the student with the knowledge and skills required to test for radon in water, evaluate its risk and choose a mitigation system for waterborne radon. It covers the ANSI/AARST MW-RN-2020: Protocol for the Collection, Transfer and Measurement of Radon in Water. Topics include sources of radon in water and factors that govern system selection and installation. Demonstration include testing methods, mitigation equipment and installation. This course and a passing grade in the exam are required to perform radon in water mitigation in the state of Maine.
